About 90% of every piece we make is handwork, done by our karigars in our own workshop in Pakistan.

The handwork
Zardozi: metal thread laid and stitched by hand into motifs, the richest work on a bridal piece.
Dabka and tilla: coiled wire and fine metallic thread that give raised, shining detail.
Gota: woven ribbon borders, folded and stitched into patterns, loved for mehndi.
Resham: silk thread embroidery in one colour or many.
Naqshi: fine metal work that catches the light, often on nikkah and walima pieces.
Pearls, sequins and stones: added by hand, one at a time.
Our workshop
Every piece is cut, embroidered and finished in our own workshop. A bridal piece takes 8 to 12 weeks from the day its design is agreed.
